Over the last week we have attended 2 Burglar Alarm Call Outs where the Control Panel has caught fire.
If you have a Burglar Alarm System installed one thing i would advise you to do is to feel the main control panel and make sure that it is not hot in any shape or form.
If your control panel proves to be extremely warm then it may be a good idea to get your local alarm company to check this out for you.
Burglar Alarm maintenance is not as expensive as you may think and for the sake of approx £60.00 which is approximately what most companies charge then this is a small price to pay.
As this is quite dangerous i feel this is something you may want to check out straight away
